Executive Committee

Members of the Board of Directors who want to have a more active role in steering the course of the construction industry may stand for election to the executive committee.

Comprised of six members elected from the Board of Directors, the executive committee is responsible for overseeing the actions of the staff and gives direction to the Board.

Your first position with the executive committee is honorary secretary, where you will serve for one year. You then advanced through each position, parentheses honorary treasurer, second vice chair, first vice chair, chair and immediate past chair), serving a one-year term.

This process ensures each member of the executive committee becomes well versed in the operation of the OGCA and the many issues we face. Executive committee members invariably become the OGCA's most active and argued supporters.
