Category 2 - Buildings - HONOURABLE MENTION

Mountain Equipment Co-op is a two-storey retail store in Burlington, Ontario, designed and constructed to achieve LEED Gold Standard and is in the process of being certified. Completed in a compressed seven month construction schedule, the two-storey store sits on a 1.8 acre site and totals 27,000 sq. ft. in size, with 19,000 feet devoted to retail space, and the balance for staff and warehouse space.
